My Journey, Briefly
I was a mainstream story-line believer. I had read hundreds of books on topics from prehistory to current events. History was my avocation and my major in during my last stint of college. I felt well informed with a solid historical perspective for viewing current events. Was I ever wrong...
I thought, as Santayana said, those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it. But what if the remembered past is false?
The Seminole Moment
In 2007 a presidential candidate bounded on the scene. I recognized his instant celebrity as a sophisticated marketing campaign. Of course, marketing is what political campaigns rely on, but his meteoric rise was different. I was into politics and paid attention; one day I had never heard of him and the next he was a subject of the press world-wide (notice a pattern with the current set of events?).
All the standard media sources were saying the same thing at the same time and that made me look elsewhere for alternate views.
Note: my profession was (is) in the detailed use search engines so finding sources beneath the veneer of the mainstream was easy then (much harder now).
Short story is I found that this man could not have passed the security check to be a janitor at The White House let alone be president.
My (secular) worldview was shattered. I had no idea that a con of that magnitude could be pulled off! Speaking to most friends and family about my knowledge brought dismissal at best and hostility at worst. I resigned to the thought that I was not going to be able to influence events in a positive manner and shut up (mostly).
I became fascinated with finding out how this con had been accomplished and kept digging. The answer was that this con was just one in a long line of cons. The timeline seemed to stretch back to the beginning (yes, the original con in The Garden).
Here We are Ultimately this situation we are in is part of the ongoing war between the lie and the Truth, as the evil one has foot soldiers so does God. I choose to be God’s foot soldier and good intel is essential in battle. If we know our enemies’ tactics, we can thwart their plans.
I want to share what I have found since 2007, believe it or not it puts current events into context.
